Chic in Chevron

We’ve been thoroughly inspired for spring after flipping through magazines and Pinterest boards lately (ours included)!  See some of our picks for the seasons biggest pattern–Chevron!  Zig-zags have never looked fresher than in new colors and covering even the most surprising surfaces (chevron wallpaper?  Love it!).  See our picks for brightening up your office.

You can’t go wrong with luxe gold chevron stripes for one of your office walls.  Throw a chandelier in the mix and you’ve got one fancy workspace sure to inspire! (The awesome wall below was actually an easy and quick DIY project using painting tape and gold paint.)

If a gold chevron wall is too bold a move for you, try a simple tray perched on a desk or side table. Keep it subtle chic.

Desk Worthy

Chevron can be big and bold or tiny and discreet.  Add a pop of color with a bright chevron notepad or desk calendar.

Frame a Window or Wall

Lightly embossed transparent curtains add a breezy vibe, and so do colorful frames mixed and matched.

Accents Make the Heart Grow Fonder

For final chevron chic, an area rug, throw pillow, or decorative basket can make all the difference.

  1. Hey thanks Elisabeth! I’m a bit of an amateur enthusiast on home decor. LOVE the chevron print trend, particularly for curtains. Some great new inspirations here. You’ve given me some new ideas for chevron decorating our own house, though my wife thinks we have enough already! ;)

  2. Thanks Peter! I liked your ideas for chevron curtains on your site too! I have to agree with you-there’s always room for more chevron :)
